Unlike during previous editions, this year we only attended the Caramulo Motorfestival for one of the three days of the event and, unlucky for us, it was an absolutely miserable one, with almost nonstop rain from morning to evening, low clouds (since the event takes place on a very, very high location) and thick fog at times. Bad weather aside, there’s always something interesting to see at the Motorfestival, although we feel like the 2024 edition was certainly the lesser of the last few, despite the presence of a borderline stampede inducing Huayra Codalunga and a few other neat things, as you’ll be able to check out below. Obviously, this isn’t a complete report, not only given what we previously stated but also because, as always, we just snap what tickles our fancy, so these are simply our personal picks among many other interesting rides from participants in the historic uphill climb and general public alike.
