1960 Lancia Flaminia GT Touring Coupe
One of the prettiest Lancias to ever see the light of day and also one of the finest interpretations of the Grand Tourer concept, the Flaminia GT with Touring body is – very surprisingly – still a bit of a bargain as far as vintage Italian sports rides go. Available as a 2.5 or 2.8 V6, the one offered for sale in this particular ad is a 2.5, 140hp beauty queen with a lightweight body and endless amounts of charm. These will not stay in this price range for much longer so if you’re tempted, act now.

2006 Maserati GranSport
The GranSport as a standalone model is the result of a pretty straightforward evolution process: a better version of the Coupe which, in term, was a better version of the 3200GT. Besides the cumulative benefits of Maserati’s tinkering, this 395hp, V8, 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds Italian looker has the added interesting backstory of having been driven for a year by David The Jaw Coulthard. This brief association is reflected on the price, but is one year of the awesome squareness of David worth an extra 20 grand? You decide.

1977 Porsche Turbo
There’s nothing we can say about the widowmaker that hasn’t already been said before and that’s a good thing because if we were to go on information stated in this ad…we’d have nothing because the seller has provided 0 details about this ride. Normally we wouldn’t feature it, but look at the damn thing! That is one astonishing color right there! Absolutely stunning. Early Turbos got their infamous nickname from the fact that people just weren’t ready to deal with the Turbo kick and that combined with the pendulum effect would get a lot of folks wrapped around trees really, really fast. Despite slightly murderish, the 930 Turbo is a timeless example of beauty and a major breakthrough in speed and performance for sports cars. A true icon.

1964 Jaguar Mark X
Somebody call the Brown Car Appreciation Society cause we got a doozy over here! Often overlooked, the HUGE Mk X is one of most distinctive looking Jag saloons ever made. This particular example is in pretty good condition, has a service history and it’s packing the more common 3.8, 6 cylinder (there was a 4.2 option) under the hood. Mechanically there are a couple of money burners, but hopefully it won’t be that bad…hopefully. Inside, a wood trim and leather paradise luxurious enough to please even the snootiest of brits. (Literally) two tons of fun right here.

1967 Maserati Ghibli
Long before we had the modern 4 door Ghibli, engineered to go up against Jag and the Germans in the luxury saloon (sedan) market, there was the original, badass, subtle as a sledgehammer Ghibli. A stunning Giugiaro body with a V8 under the bonnet, the Ghibli is amongst the greatest GTs of the 1960s and current prices definitely show it. The one featured in the ad is rocking the 4.9 SS engine which is nice cause desirability and power, but it may ruin it for the originality freaks out there.

1982 Mercedes Benz 500SEC Cabriolet
In the “now there’s something you don’t see every day” category, this Merc definitely has it covered. You’re looking at an 80’s conversion of a 500SEC and of the humongous disaster it could have been…it’s not bad at all! The rims are slightly terrible and the chrome on the arches needs to go, but other than that we’re feeling it (and loving the color).

1974 BMW 2002 Turbo
Another one of the great Turbo granddaddies, the 2002 is BMW royalty. 4 cylinders, 170hp and endless charisma. A winning combination. One of BMWs most successful designs and motorizations, the 2002 Turbo is quite rare because it had the misfortune to see the light of day just before the oil crisis hit. Ouch. This particular Grand Old Dame has had some work done but nothing to mess too much with the originality…it even features the reversed Turbo stickers (so you can read them straight on your rearview mirror when this thing pops up behind you out of nowhere, clever right? Can’t decide if rare display of German humor or actual concern for safety like “oh damn a Turbo, gotta get out of the way!”).
Price: Auction. Estimated € 85.000 to 105.000 (94.121 to 116.267 USD)

1999 Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans V600
The Vantage to end all Vantages, the heavy artillery, the big brute, the car incarnation of Thor…ok, you get the picture. One of the most impressive products of Aston Martin to date, the Vantage Le Mans is an AV favorite so we’ll get back to it more in depth soon. Until then, consider yourself incentivized to make a lot of damage to your bank account. This is a properly rare one.
